Greetings! This is my 1st time here and I learned about VFC by way of radio network.
I am a middle aged cardiac patient who tries to stay active as possible by volunteer work for my Admin work 4 my Mayor, working w/the seniors in my community and the youth as much as possible. Not to mention placing as much focus on my senior citizen parents. 1 of which has alzheimers. I am back and forth 2 the doctors myself 4 out of days of a 5 bus. day schedule and some days 2/3 appts.
The Lord blessed me w/a vehicle when I finally rec'd my disability lump sum pymt 8 yrs ago after waiting 8 yrs to get it. I rededicated it back to the Lord and blessed be Jesus it has served me well, but it's time for something new now to continue my work. I am disabled the aforementioned IS my work. Serving others is what I do n the name of the Lord. I would love to continue 2 serve Him but am n need of better transpo 2 do that. THIS is where VFC comes in.
